Stormy Weather: "Ahead of the Storm"
My latest painting is now online! I started this one before hurricane season began to really batter us this year. It's a scene from Abacos Island in the Bahamas. The devastation wrought by the terrible storms this year make my heart hurt for all the people and beautiful areas throughout the Caribbean and Florida. This painting recalls happier times. My thanks to Kymberlee Edwards MacKay who photographed the original scene I used as inspiration for this piece. She generously shared her image and granted unrestricted use for it as reference.
