Art in the Great Outdoors
I feel fortunate to have had another chance to practice painting plein air the past few days.
A group of artists gathered at Edisto Beach State Park where we spent a couple of days on location creating art. A number of wonderful drawings and paintings were the result. I was fortunate to find a great spot to paint. Turns out I will be the last to be able to paint from that spot as the park has since moved the barrier fence inland by 6 feet and changed it's angle because the land behind it has been washed away by this winter's storms.
It was a cold overcast day so the light was a bit more consistent this time around!
More plein air events are in my schedule in the next couple of months. Looking forward to it!
