Dear friends and fellow art lovers,
I hope you are doing well as this year winds down and the holidays gear up. I’ve been hard at work completing several commissions for people wanting to give Christmas surprises to special people in their lives. I can’t wait to be able to share them with you all, but in the meantime; I wanted to surprise you with something special just for being a subscriber. Thank You for sharing in my art journey. The puzzle image is a painting I did a little while back which brings me joy at Christmas time and I wanted to share that with you. The original, which I call “Jolly Old Elf” is 16x20 inches.
I hope it's a fun distraction for you from all that's going on in the world right now. If you like puzzles you're going to love this! It's so much fun to slide the pieces around on the screen but I'll confess it might take you a little while. I suggest you use something larger than your phone, there are 456 pieces total.
This has been quite a year hasn't it! None of us can know what 2021 has in store for us, but I am hopeful it will be an improvement over this past year. I really hope you enjoy the puzzle and please feel free to share it with your family and friends. Let me know how you did!
Holiday cheers from my studio. I'll be here painting!
Barbara

Recently sold: “Low Tide”. I’m so happy that the new gallery representing my artwork has already sold this big piece. Hurray! More artwork will be heading its way there this week to take its place.
"Charleston Harbor" "Georgia Salt Marsh"
What’s next? Several more commissions are lined up and it’s time for me to get started on painting something to include in the big annual juried show for the local art league I’m very involved in: Crooked Creek Art League. Fingers crossed the new artwork turns out prize worthy! I’m still trying to decide between another water scene, a landscape or a floral. What do you think?
Stay tuned!
Please feel free to share this with anyone you think might enjoy this message or my art!
